Me and Nina

Me and Nina by Monica Hand is my most recent read. It's a poetry book. I have to be honest, poetry isn't particularly moving for me. I read the book and the poems were unique and complex. I am not at all familiar with Nina Simone or music. I have of course heard of her and how her music really spoke to and inspired a generation but my knowledge doesn't go much further.
