Birth of A Goddess

I gave birth today

to wisdom, knowledge and understanding

Labor pains brought-forth the sweet agony of life,

I toiled through bitterness, sadness and injustice

My laboring day and night was not in vain

I now, am the giver of life

I will nurse wisdom at my breast

I will swaddle knowledge with my love

and I will teach understanding with my actions

today I am a mother filled with hope

ready and prepared in righteousness.
