I found his taco seasoning recipe in my quest to eat clean and a vegan as possible. My Husband loves his tacos but I'm not a fan of those convenience packs. So, I decided to test my spice blending skills (with the help of a recipe).
My husband loved his dinner and I was pleased as well (I had finely chopped mushroom instead of meat). I only wish I'd made more like the author suggests. Anyway, my husband is due for a taco turkey burger with black beans and I am determined to deliver.
Oh, a taco turkey burger is ground turkey formed into burger patties and seasoned taco style. I got this idea just last night. Tacos really aren't a take to work meal, since they require some assembly; so, I am going to do a condensed version. Instead of ground taco meat, I'm using a burger and instead of a taco shell I am just going to skip it and add the black beans and a vegetable to make a traditional meal.
