Vegan Ranch Dressing RECIPE...The Best Recipe
Ever since my vegetarian/vegan transition, I’ve been really into making my own salad dressings. The benefit is that I know exactly what’s in it and I avoid unnecessary preservative, additives and artificial ingredients.
I’m really excited to share this ranch recipe because even when I was purchasing my dressings, I didn’t even really like ranch all that much. This recipe surpasses any commercially produced ranch dressing I’ve ever had. It just might be my new favorite dressing. The cider vinegar is what really pulls in the flavor, along with the garlic and onion powder.

The cider vinegar is what really pulls in the flavor, along with the garlic and onion powder.
- 1 cup vegan Mayo (I used vegenaise)
- 1/4 cup soy milk or other unsweetened non-diary milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp fresh chopped dill or 1/4 tsp dried
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.
Note: add parsley last and blend for a few seconds to keep the dressing white and creamy. Otherwise you’ll have green ranch dressing!
**To use your ranch dressing as a dip, just add a bit extra mayonnaise and a bit less soy milk to make it thicker. Place the dip in the fridge; it will slight thicken as it chills. This Recipe is from About.com!!
